Vaughan Wedding // Oak Island Mansion // Wilsonville, AL // second shooter


Jordan Merrell with Jordan Merrell Photography was the booked photographer for this wedding. I was her second shooter. The way this process goes is she gets all my raw images and I cannot publish my own edits until she has submitted her gallery. Also When I do publish, I need to make it clear that I was her second - why that's important is that there are shots that she posed and I was there merely taking images from a different angle. The creative inspiration for those posed images all belong to her. Also, it's important to note so that there is no confusion if someone attended their wedding then sees posts from a different photographer.


All day, I had a 4k DJI video camera mounted to the hot shoe of my camera. I took lots of video throughout the day while also photographing. I was able to piece together a wedding video of their day using those videos. I was not hired to video, so I was careful to only do so if it didn't impede with why I was hired to be there. Therefore, this is a short demo for a hybrid wedding package I am now offering. This was also proof to me that I can do this. I can take on a wedding day as a hybrid photographer AND videographer. However, please note, if I am hired solely as a videographer, I would use my normal camera + DJI gimbal to film, ensuring even higher quality. Much love guys, hope you enjoy the collection below!

Details


The images of the bridal details and the dress shots were set up by Jordan Merrell of Jordan Merrell photography. I cannot take any credit for the set up of the shot, only the image I took + how I edited it.
